The SUPER PIT,

transforming "the richest square mile on earth" into "a big hole".

Currenty 3.5 km long, 1.5 km wide and 360 m deep. Kalgoorlie's "Golden Mile" has produced over 1550 tonnes of gold during the past 100 years.
